WHAT IS SHEERID?
Our verification process is powered by SheerID. You will not be contacted by SheerID outside of any requests for additional information in regard to your verification status. You can learn more about the SheerID verification process here.
WHAT KIND OF DOCUMENT(S) DO I UPLOAD IF ASKED?
You'll need to upload official documentation that shows your: First Name, Last Name, School name and the current academic year. Examples include school id card, pay stub within last 90 days, an official letter, or signed job offer letter. For a full list of acceptable document types, please visit SheerID's Teacher FAQ page.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I CAN'T PROVE I'M A FACULTY OR SCHOOL STAFF MEMBER?
This rarely happens, but in the event any acceptable proof of validation cannot be provided, the offer won't be able to be given. If you're currently employed as a teacher or other faculty or staff member, you should have access to a document that can be verified.
MY CODE ISN’T WORKING / I HAVEN’T RECEIVED MY CODE YET?
You should receive your code upon successful verification. If you don't receive your code within 24 hours, please contact our Customer Service.
HOW DO I KNOW YOU WON'T SELL OR SHARE MY ID AND INFORMATION?
This is something RVCA and SheerID take extremely seriously. Your information is only used to confirm your eligibility. Your information is not rented or sold. Documents or images uploaded are not stored. Read RVCA's privacy policy and SheerID's privacy policy.
IS THE DISCOUNT VALID FOR ALL RVCA PRODUCTS?
Offer valid online only at RVCA.com, some exclusions may apply. The discount cannot be combined with any other offer with the exception of the Authentic membership discount.
IS THERE A LIMIT TO THE NUMBER OF TIMES I CAN USE MY DISCOUNT?
Codes are one-time use. To receive another code to make an additional purchase will require you to re-verify. Limit 10 verifications per year with a maximum of 2 every 30 days.
